Do you have a morning routine?


If you’re anything like me even the word mornings make you tired. Girl I love to sleep! But adulting requires I get out of bed and get stuff done. Making a routine helped me get my ass into gear and boss up for the day.

I want to share some tips that will help you along that path.

Strategy #1

The night before take an inventory of what you need to get done the next day. What are three things you know come tomorrow must get done? Having these in your mind in the morning helps the day start smoothly

Strategy #2

Begin each day with gratitude. There are so many things to be grateful for even the small ones. Before getting out of bed say to yourself 2-4 things you are thankful for before your feet even touch the ground. And when I say even small things I mean it. I’m thankful for the ability to have a coffee or my laptop. We don’t need a grand reason to express gratitude.

Strategy #3

Stretch! I know right in the morning we may not have a ton of time to get our workout in, however, taking 3 minutes to do a few stretches can make a world of difference for your body and your mindset. Feeling stiff and achy can put you in a bad mood, (or so I’ve heard haha)

Running a business is busy and hard starting your day off on a good foot can make you overall more productive.
